Pima County Fair & GCPRA Rodeo 2019

Written by

Get ready to mark your calendars because the 2019 edition of the Pima County Fair is almost here! The fair, taking place April 18th-28th, has long been a family favorite event, attracting audiences with a larger than life carnival, live entertainment, and all the fair food one could eat! Read below for more information about the Pima County Fair.

The History

Did you know that tradition runs deep at the Pima County Fair? The first ever fair was held October 25th-27th, 1911. While dates and the location of the fair has changed through the years, what hasn’t changed is the quality of the event. There’s a reason that attendance records are shattered each year!

The Carnival

At the Pima County Fair, the carnival is divided into two sections; the Kiddie Land Carnival and the regular carnival for the older attendees to enjoy. This year there will be nearly 60 rides and 50 midway games, including the ever so popular Galaxy Coaster, Mega Drop, Wild River, and Big Top Swinger.

Titan, pictured below, is one of the new rides that carnival goers will be able to enjoy this year. If you hadn’t been planning on attending the fair in 2019, you’re going to want to readjust your schedule for this ride!
