It’s colorful, it’s known as one of the top 10 rodeos in the world, and it’s famous for Chuckwagon racing; it’s the Ponoka Stampede! The rodeo, taking place June 25th-July 1st, 2019, is the largest Canadian Professional Cowboy Association Approved Rodeo, and attracts the top competitors in both Canada and North America each year. Learn all about the rodeo, entertainment, and events you can’t miss, below!
It’s already been mentioned that the Ponoka Stampede attracts some of the biggest names in the rodeo industry! Fans who travel to Ponoka for the rodeo most likely have watching Chuckwagon racing at the top of their to-do list, which is why the rodeo has two performances of racing on six straight nights. The first performance each night will be the All-Pro Canadian Chuckwagons. The second performance will be the “Top Wagon Drivers in the World” of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association.
Most rodeo fans love a good concert, and this year Ponoka Stampede attendees will have the chance to watch three! Check out the music lineup below and click the following links to purchase tickets.
June 25th: LeAnn Rimes
June 26th: The Washboard Union
