Lovers of pro rodeo and followers of the PRCA will be excited to hear the
Federacion Mexicana de Rodeo is coming to
Hermosillo in Sonora, Mexico on May 7, 2016.
The Federacion Mexicana de Rodeo is the brainchild of Diego González Fernández. Fernández created the event to protect, support and promote the rugged Western lifestyle that’s been embraced by many of the cowboys and cowgirls in Mexico. Founded in Chihuahua, Mexico, the organization quickly linked with the PRCA Pro Rodeo circuit. Ever since, the two organizations have been some of the sport’s biggest advocates, ensuring the sport of rodeo stays alive and well, and reminding the world that the cowboy lifestyle crosses many cultural borders.
