Prescott Frontier Days Parade 2020

Written by

One of the highlights of being in Prescott during Frontier Days is the Prescott Frontier Days Parade held annually on Saturday in downtown, over the 4th of July weekend. This wonderful tradition is Arizona’s second-largest parade which typically draws over 45,000 people to Prescott. Help Cowboy Lifestyle Network celebrate 133 years of rich western history, right here in Prescott. Join us for this amazing tradition and celebrate with us!

The parade is just a snapshot of everything going on during rodeo week. From an exciting rodeo dance to the famous Prescott Frontier Days, Inc. Rodeo, they make all the event as family-friendly as possible. The Prescott Frontier Days Parade is a spectacle you will not want to miss this year during the 2020 Prescott Rodeo. Hundreds of floats and rousing amusement makes it around the rodeo parade route. You can catch the route heading west down Willis to make a turn south on Cortez Street, it makes a right down Carlton to downtown Prescott’s famous Montezuma Street in front of Courthouse Square and Matt’s Saloon. Eventually making its way east down Sheldon Street to finish the celebrated parade route.

In fact, you should be able to spot our very own, Cowboy Lifestyle Network in the parade to show our western pride! You might also be lucky enough to catch the legendary Coors Banquet Float making its rounds around Prescott’s famous “whiskey row,” supporting the 2020 Summer Protect Our West (POW) campaign. LEARN MORE about how CLN, Coors Banquet and the Wildland Firefighter Foundation teamed up to support these heroes and their families.

The World’s Oldest Rodeo continues to prove itself to be one of Arizona’s favorite PRCA sanctioned rodeos. One thing that makes this rodeo celebration so great is that it is during the heart of the rodeo season that carries through the 4th of July weekend that cowboys refer to as “Cowboy Christmas”. Prescott Rodeo contestants battle through the 7-day rodeo in events such as Bareback Riding, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, Team Roping and Bull Riding.

You can catch all the informore for Prescott Frontier Days Parade and more by checking out the last article we did on the event as a whole. We are blessed that we are able to attend this rodeo and that the committee has decided to move forward with their plans. Thanks for tuning in, Click On’ and Hang On!’
