Protect Our West with Coors Banquet

Written by

If you have never been to the Coors Brewery, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, you will see and feel the respect and admiration Coors has for the natural beauty of the west. Since 1873 the Coors Brewery has flourished on a legacy of quality, innovation, customer service and giving back to the community.

Coors Banquet has teamed up with Wildland Firefighter Foundation for its annual “Protect Our West” program. Coors contributes 25 cents to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation for every case sold in select states; Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington throughout July and August, up to $250,000.

Formed in 1999, the Wildland Firefighter Foundation provides families of firefighters who were seriously injured or killed in the line of duty, emergency support services. Families left behind, many with young children, often find themselves with few resources, and the Foundation steps in to help, including assistance with travel costs bringing family members to the bedside of an injured firefighter or help with replacing lost wages during a firefighter’s medical leave.

The Coors Light RV touring rodeos and events providing a fun and unique way for promoting the more serious Protect Our West campaign. The Coors Light RV is an experience like no other, with big-screen TVs and seating areas and a stairwell up to the roof. When the RV is a VIP host site at a rodeo, guests can go upstairs to the roof lounge area, which offers a one of a kind view of events.

Along with the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, please help support and join the movement now by purchasing a case of Coors Banquet. For more information about the Wildland Firefighter Foundation website.
