Don’t Shoot…it’s a Quick Draw competition with a paint brush
Michelle Weber is the Quick Draw artist joining the Girls In Spurs on February 4, 2014 in Rapid City. “The painting I will be working on is based off a photo I took this summer. It is a very close up image of a saddle. It is vibrant with the natural hot summer sun beating down on it,” Weber stated.
Weber is a rancher and artist from Lake Benton, MN.
“We raise Red Angus breeding stock and I have been painting full time for just over three years,” she mentioned, “ My focus has always been primarily livestock based with an emphases on cattle.
Weber Custom Painting is a way for my customers to preserve their photos and memories by transforming a photograph into an original piece of art.
I also had the opportunity to illustrate the children’s book, “Levi’s Lost Calf” by Amanda Radke.
Last year at the Black Hills Stock Show, Weber competed in her first Quick Draw. “It was a 24×48 painting of a steer. I was honored to be voted People’s Choice and had the high selling auction piece,” she expressed.
