Real Cowboys, Real Country: The Authentic Magic of Party in the Desert 2026

It’s about that time for one of our most highly anticipated country music festivals of the year: Party in the Desert! Set beneath the magical, wide-open skies of the Sonoran Desert is a multi-day country music experience held at the historic Flying E Ranch in Wickenburg, Arizona. Featuring nationally recognized country artists like Corey Kent, Shenandoah, Randall King, and Chancey Williams, the festival is built around authenticity. Guests don’t just attend another concert; they stay on the ranch, camp onsite, gather at multiple bars and stages, and experience live country music the way it was meant to be heard. Book your trip to sunny Arizona and experience it for yourself (and spoiler alert, CLN has an exclusive discount code)!

“We’re thrilled to be hosting the Party in the Desert at the Flying E Ranch. This is an opportunity to showcase the “Ropin’ Capital of the West” and our western lifestyle. We always enjoy bringing people together for fun, to see some real cowboys, and to have some truly memorable experiences!”

An Unforgettable Experience

The Party in the Desert lineup is already shaping up to be a legendary experience, and this year, we’re taking luxury to new heights with the largest VIP area in the event’s history. Imagine soaking in every chord from the premier Stillery Main Stage or drifting into the soulful, flickering magic of an intimate campfire set. This is where every country music fan finds their rhythm.

The new team at Party in the Desert curated a “killer” lineup that bridges the heart of Nashville, the rugged plains of Wyoming, the grit of Texas, and the raw talent of our own Arizona desert. With music that carries you from the sun-drenched energy of the day to the electric pulse of the night and into the wild spirit of the after-party, it begs the question: what more could we possibly ask for? This isn’t just a festival; it’s the heartbeat of the Southwest.

Thursday, March 26 Free Kick-Off Event

Gage Gardiner

You’re in for a special treat to kick off the 2026 Party in the Desert! Setting the bar for the weekend is none other than rising country music singer Gage Gardiner – a singer-songwriter and former rodeo athlete based in Fort Worth, Texas, whose music is grounded in the rugged authenticity of his Kansas ranching roots, where he grew up. He has gained significant traction in the Texas music scene over the last few years, particularly through his connection to Texas Christian University (TCU) and the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Over the past 18 months, Gage performed at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) Cowboy Corral in Las Vegas in late 2025 and has released four original songs highlighting his gift for lyrics that speak to life and love in rural America. They include the catchy rodeo-themed “Nowhere,” which he played onstage during The American post-show this spring at Globe Life Field, plus the romantic “Firefly Eyes,” the sorrowful “Sweet Forgiveness,” and the nostalgic “Red Hills.”

Gates open at 6 PM, and Gage kicks off the festivities at Duke’s stage from 7-10 PM! No ticket required. Get those campers set up and start the weekend early. See ya there!

Colton Dawson

Arizona native Colton Dawson will be hitting the Stillery Main Stage at Party in the Desert!

Making waves in Nashville, Colton is one of country music’s most exciting rising stars. With his soulful voice, incredible guitar skills, and honest, heartfelt songwriting, he’s quickly becoming a standout in the new wave of traditional country music. Blending classic country roots with fresh energy, Colton is currently recording his debut album in Nashville with some of the industry’s top musicians, and we can’t wait to listen to him LIVE in the desert!

Shenandoah

When the first notes of a Shenandoah classic hit the air, it’s more than just music; it’s a time machine. With a legendary career spanning 10 studio albums and 26 charting singles, including over a dozen #1 hits, Shenandoah helped define the golden era of 90s country. Their legacy is built on the kind of storytelling that gets under your skin and stays there, anchored by Marty Raybon’s unmistakable, soul-stirring vocals.

On Friday, March 27th, the desert night will transform into a celebration of country music’s enduring heart. From the nostalgic ache of “Two Dozen Roses” to the timeless charm of “The Church on Cumberland Road,” Shenandoah brings a masterclass in harmony and hit-making to the Party in the Desert stage. This isn’t just a performance; it’s a rare opportunity to witness living legends bridge the gap between country’s rich heritage and the high-octane energy of today. Get ready for a night where every lyric feels like home, and every melody reminds you why you fell in love with country music in the first place.

Saturday, March 28

  • 1:30 PM Gates Open

  • 3:10 PM Western Fusion
  • 4:45 PM Josh Roy
  • 6:15 PM Randall King
  • 8:00 PM Corey Kent

Josh Roy

There is something special about watching a homegrown talent rise through the ranks, and Josh Roy is the ultimate hometown hero story. A true Party in the Desert veteran, Josh has been a staple of the festival for the last five years, but this year marks a major milestone: he’s officially taking over the Stillery Main Stage for the first time!

If you haven’t experienced Josh’s incredible voice yet, prepare yourself; it’s a powerhouse of traditional grit and modern soul that feels like a masterclass in country music. For those of us at CLN who have followed his journey from day one, we know that seeing Josh live isn’t just a concert; it’s a high-octane celebration of our sunny state’s musical spirit. If you have a soul that lives for the golden era of 90s country, this is the one performance you absolutely cannot miss. We couldn’t be prouder to support a local artist who hails from our own backyard and continues to prove that the best country music is born right here in the Arizona dirt.

Randall King

A fourth-generation hay-hauler from the West Texas plains, Randall King is the standard-bearer for the “neo-traditional” movement. With a baritone as smooth as top-shelf bourbon and a soul steeped in the influences of George Strait and Keith Whitley, King brings the grit of the Texas panhandle to the global stage. Whether he’s delivering the honky-tonk swagger of “You In A Honky Tonk” or the slow-burning heartache of “Thinkin’ ‘Bout Drinkin'”, his music is a masterclass in authentic storytelling. Backed by his high-octane band, the “Tonk Machine,” King bridges the gap between country’s legendary past and its vibrant future, ensuring the spirit of the dancehall lives on.

Corey Kent

Blending Red Dirt grit with a high-octane rock edge, Corey Kent is the definitive voice of country music’s resilient new wave. From the Bixby, Oklahoma native’s early days fronting a Western Swing band to his years spent paving roads in Texas while chasing a dream, Kent’s journey is etched into every raspy, soulful note he sings.

His triple-platinum breakout hit, “Wild as Her,” catapulted him to the top of the charts and earned him a billion career streams, but it’s his unwavering authenticity that keeps fans coming back. Whether he’s delivering the defiant spirit of his sophomore major-label album, “Black Bandana”, or the viral, gut-punch honesty of his 2026 single “Empty Words,” Kent proves he is more than just a hitmaker; he’s a storyteller for those who refuse to wave the white flag which is the perfect combo for listening under the open desert sky at the Flying E.

Sunday, March 29

  • 12:00 PM Gates Open
  • 12:00 PM Last Train to Juarez
  • 1:30 PM Shari Rowe
  • 3:00 PM Chancey Williams
  • 4:30 PM After Party with Josh Roy

Shari Rowe

An Arizona native with a voice as vast as the Southwest, Shari Rowe is a true local treasure. Known for her high-energy performances and a magnetic stage presence that we at CLN absolutely love, Shari seamlessly blends traditional country with hints of bluegrass and rock.

From sharing stages with legends like Wynonna Judd to her radio series “Arizona on the Rise,” she is a tireless champion of the desert music scene. Whether she’s delivering a high-octane anthem or a soulful ballad like “Too Good To Go,” Shari’s music is a masterclass in authenticity, proving that the most powerful stories are the ones rooted right here at home.

Chancey Williams

Few artists can claim to have kicked up as much dust in a rodeo arena as they have on a concert stage, but Chancey Williams is the genuine article. As a Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame inductee and a former saddle bronc rider, Chancey doesn’t just wear the hat—he lives the life. His music is the pulse of the modern West, echoing the grit of the ranch and the spirit of the open road.

From the hallowed circle of the Grand Ole Opry to the majestic heights of Red Rocks, Chancey has proven that authentic cowboy country has a home on the world’s biggest stages. Having shared the spotlight with icons like Chris Ledoux, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, and Cody Johnson, he brings an undeniable credibility to every performance. Whether he’s headlining the National Finals Rodeo or commanding the desert air, Chancey Williams delivers a high-energy, “no-bull” brand of country that’s as honest as a Wyoming sunrise. This isn’t just a show; it’s a masterclass in Western heritage.

Local Legends

There is something truly soulful about the Sonoran sun the way it warms the red earth and sets the stage for a day of pure, unfiltered connection. While the headliners may light up the night, the heart of Party in the Desert beats strongest during the daylight hours, fueled by the raw talent of our very own local legends.

Feel the stirrings of nostalgia as Last Train to Juarez takes the stage, their gritty outlaw spirit echoing through the canyon like a ghost of the Old West. Let the crystalline, heartfelt melodies of Peyton Grace wash over you, a gentle reminder of the beauty found in vulnerability, or find yourself swept up in the magnetic, high-octane energy of Matt Farris as he commands the crowd with effortless charm. The excitement only builds with Western Fusion, the reigning 2025 AZDCMA Entertainer of the Year, who knows exactly how to kick up the dust and keep the desert pulse racing.

As the afternoon peaks, the soulful, soaring range of Patti Russell adds a layer of pure desert magic, perfectly complemented by the tight, infectious harmonies and polished sound of Resonate, a young band that truly lives up to its name. And when Hollie Jo steps up, her powerhouse vocals don’t just fill the air; they grab hold of your spirit, grounding you in the realization that this isn’t just a concert; it’s a homecoming. These are the voices of our desert, the soundtrack to our memories, and experiencing them under the wide Arizona sky is a moment of pure magic you’ll carry long after the sun goes down.

“I absolutely love camping with friends and Flying E is the perfect place to do so. My husband and I have been attending Party in the Desert for the last 4 years and love the smaller, quaint community vibe of this festival compared to the larger ones.”

Crescent Crown

Crescent Crown Distributing isn’t just moving beverages; they’re powering good times across Arizona and Louisiana. Founded in 1978 in Huntington Beach, California, Boot Barn has evolved from a single storefront into the largest Western and workwear retailer in the United States, operating over 515 stores across 49 states as of early 2026. The company has become a cultural cornerstone by offering a massive selection of footwear and apparel across four distinct lifestyle segments: Western gear for ranchers and rodeo athletes, durable Work clothing for trades like oil and gas, Country styles for modern outdoor living, and Fashion pieces for those embracing the “Western-chic” aesthetic.

Jones Ford Wickenburg

Located in the heart of Wickenburg, Arizona, Jones Ford Wickenburg is a family-owned and operated dealership that has been a cornerstone of the community since it was established in 1970. Part of the Jones Auto Group, the dealership was founded by Tom Jones and his father, Glenn, on the core principles of “small-town honesty” and a low-pressure sales approach. While the tradition remains rooted in quality and affordability, the brand has evolved with its newest concept, Valle Lunatics, the newest concept in North Phoenix, which injects a fresh energy and Sunday “Funday” breakfast traditions into the family legacy.

The IV Guy

Brian Underwood, known professionally as The IV Guy, is a board-certified vascular access nurse whose career began as an EMT and phlebotomist before he transitioned into nursing. Driven by the realization that most medical programs offer minimal hands-on training for the most common hospital procedure, he bridged this educational gap by establishing his business, TheIVGuy.com, in 2019. In addition to his educational platform, Brian Underwood has expanded The IV Guy brand to include specialized IV therapy services, combining his clinical expertise with a focus on patient wellness in Arizona.

Roadrunner Drywall

Founded in 1977 by Mark and Bev Nuessle with nothing more than a pickup truck and a single apprentice, Roadrunner Drywall has grown from a humble Phoenix startup into one of the Southwest’s premier drywall and paint contractors. With nearly five decades of experience, the family-owned company has expanded its footprint across Arizona and Nevada, earning a reputation for integrity and meticulous craftsmanship. They specialize in a wide range of services, including high-volume residential tract homes, complex multi-family projects, and high-end custom estates that require specialized finishes like Santa Fe or Level V smooth textures. By combining traditional “old-fashioned” hard work with modern technology and a dedicated paint division, Roadrunner remains a trusted partner for major regional developers and homeowners alike, proving that quality and honesty are the best foundations for growth.

Courtland Communities

For over 30 years, Courtland Communities has been a premier Arizona homebuilder known for quality, integrity, and functional design. A local favorite in the Phoenix market, they are best recognized for their innovative Supergarage™, a massive, purpose-built space designed to house RVs, boats, and hobby collections. Based in Tempe, Arizona, Scorpion Ammo is a precision-focused ammunition manufacturer that caters to both competitive shooters and everyday enthusiasts. Originally a small local business, it has grown into a notable regional player by focusing on “small batch quality,” ensuring every round, whether new or remanufactured, is hand-inspected and chamber-gauged to meet or exceed SAAMI specifications. The company is particularly popular in the USPSA and competition circuits, offering specialized “Competition Ready” 9mm and 38 Super Comp loads designed for reliability and specific power factors. Known for their “Go Bags” (bulk ammunition pouches) and a transparent manufacturing process, Scorpion Ammo emphasizes “first-stick” reliability in their products just as much as they do in their customer service.
