Refreshing Summer Vodka Recipes

Written by

Summer is almost here, which means it’s about time to bust out your favorite summer vodka recipes! Join us as we tell you about some of our favorite vodka drinks, then we would love to know what some of your favorites are below!

Moscow Mule – Make it Your Own

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Who doesn’t love a good ole fashioned Moscow Mule? We are huge fans! But the fun doesn’t stop with the original. This drink is so easy to mix up with your favorite flavors or even your favorite booze. The key is finding a really good ginger beer that you can be happy with! We would love to hear about your variations on the classic mule!

Black Russian

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce coffee liqueur
  • Optional: maraschino cherries

This drink only requires just two ingredients—vodka and coffee liqueur! Easy peezy, you can probably adjust the ratios to your liking, but pour this puppy over some ice and you’ve got an iced liquor coffee! Watch out Starbucks!

Screwdriver

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • Orange juice, freshly squeezed, to top

Don’t get us wrong, we aren’t reinventing the wheel here, but you can’t go wrong with a class Screwdriver! Once again, this drink leaves plenty of room for adjustment. You can add different juices (therefore changing the drink, but oh well!), fruits, or event add champagne for a dirty mimosa!

Purple Haze

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce black raspberry liqueur
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice, or more to taste
  • Blackberries or lemon twist for garnish

If you are looking to try something a little bit different, then try mixing up a Purple Haze or ask for it at your local watering hole. While creating a truly purple drink is pretty difficult, this recipe makes it simple to achieve this aesthetically pleasing vodka beverage.

Spiked Arnold Palmer

  • For the Lemonade:
  • 2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 2 ounces simple syrup
  • 4 ounces water
  • For the Cocktail:
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 to 3 ounces lemonade
  • 2 to 3 ounces iced tea
  • Garnish: lemon wheel & mint sprig

Listen ya’ll, the Arnold Palmer is one of the BEST drinks to make because it’s hard to mess it up. Besides who doesn’t love lemonade and iced tea? You can definitely put in your favorite vodka, but you can switch it out with any of your favorite liquor!

Bay Breeze

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 3 ounces pineapple juice
  • 3 ounces cranberry juice
  • Lime wedge, for garnish

Who’s ready to be sitting on a beach or by the lake sipping on this Bay Breeze cocktail? We are! This drink is super easy to make and would be great to make for parties, cookouts, pool parties…everything!

We hope you enjoyed this quick article on some amazing summer vodka recipes! If you have one that you want us to share, make sure to give us a shout!
