The inaugural Hondo Rodeo Fest was nothing short of spectacular, drawing over 60,000 enthusiastic fans and featuring a star-studded lineup of rodeo competitors with more than 70 world championship titles among them. Year one delivered unforgettable performances from country icons like Hank Williams Jr., Whiskey Myers, Brooks & Dunn, Turnpike Troubadours, Zac Brown Band, and Old Dominion, a testament to the festival’s ability to merge elite rodeo action with top-tier musical entertainment. Taryn holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, allowing her to merge her passion for music with her love of cowboy culture. As a singer and bassist, Taryn performs with bands across Phoenix and beyond including Great American Regret, Honey Marie Knight, and Sareena Dominguez. Taryn is passionate about blending her diverse interests to offer an authentic and engaging perspective on journalism.
