You heard it, right folks! Scottsdale, Arizona is getting ready to celebrate Scottsdale’s rodeo history and western legacy as they prepare for the highly anticipated Rodeo Scottsdale!
March 4th through the 7th, get ready to rodeo as the PRCA brings the top rodeo athletes to the valley for four days of jaw-dropping action. Held at WestWorld of Scottsdale, Rodeo Scottsdale will include a professional rodeo, musical entertainment, food vendors, shopping vendors, and dancing.
Rodeo action will kick off in the arena at 7 pm sharp on March 4th. Audiences will be drawn to the edge of their seat as they watch the toughest cowboys and cowgirls compete in bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback riding, team roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, and barrel racing. On Sunday, March 7th, the rodeo performance will begin at 2 pm.
However, the fun doesn’t end when the last bull bucks! Make sure to stick around for the post-rodeo entertainment at the Coors Hoedown after party. Throw on those dancing boots because the lineup is killer this year, check it out!

Friday– TBA
Saturday– TBA
Not only does the rodeo make an impact during the month of March, but it also continues to impact the community throughout the year. Presented by Parada del Sol, a nonprofit corporation, funding raised by the rodeo is able to provide financial and volunteer support to charities in the community. From breast cancer awareness foundations, local schools and educational programs, to veteran aid, Rodeo Scottsdale continues to promote Arizona’s western heritage and make a positive impact in their community.
Also typically held around the same time as the rodeo is the historic Parada Del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Festival. Unfortunately, this year due to Covid, the committee has decided to postpone those events until 2022.
“After careful consideration, the 2021 Scottsdale Parada del Sol Parade and Trail’s End Festival has been postponed. “said Parada del Sol Parade Chairman, and Scottsdale Charro Jose Leon. The Parada board has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and agreed that the viability of holding the parade became highly improbable and that the ‘Hats Off to Essential Workers’ theme should be saved until 2022 when this pandemic has been corralled. “We support the difficult decision made by the Parada board and will again be working with them planning the 2022 Parada,” said Dennis Robbins of the Scottsdale Charros.
Cowboy Lifestyle Network and Rodeo Scottsdale would like to welcome you to come on out and Rodeo Scottsdale this March 4th-7th! Make sure to check out more Arizona Rodeos.
