The ingredients are simple, most every household has them.
Savory and sweet Ingredients:
Effortless Preparation:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees, this won’t make the house too hot.
Make the marinade. Simmer the first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan until reduced and thick, maybe 20 minutes. Let cool completely. Divide into two containers, use one now and refrigerate the other container for later.
Place ribs on a large baking sheet lined with heavy foil. Pour and cover half the marinade all over the ribs on both sides. Now cover the ribs with another piece of foil and refrigerate, the longer the better, but no more than 8 hours. Preheat oven to 275 degrees, this won’t make the house too hot. Put the pan of ribs into the oven for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, take the pan of ribs out of the oven, remove foil aad pour the other half of the sauce all over the ribs, generously. Now increase oven to 300 degrees and set the pan of ribs back into the oven for another 30 to 40 minutes.
Ta da! Ribs are done to perfection. Pick one up and savor Rootbeer Ribs, Zesty and Sweet!
