It’s Time for Roots N’ Boots Queen Creek 2022!


Presented by Banner Ironwood, Arizonans and rodeo contestants alike are ready for Queen Creek’s pride and joy, Roots N’ Boot More Than A Rodeo! Families and competitors will be making their way to Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Center from March 17-20, 2022 for a weekend jam-packed with elite performances and inclusive activities for everyone. From the Kids N Kritters and Xtreme Teen Rodeo to the Special Kids Rodeo and carnival, there will be countless smiles sure to be found within these four days filled to the brim with fun.  

Queen Creek is proud to have celebrated its history of ranching and agriculture through Roots N’ Boots for 11 years. Since then it has almost doubled in size of spectators and attractions. Today, the town of Queen Creek sees it as an opportunity to honor its history and encourage camaraderie among its neighbors.

  • 5:00pm: Community Roping – by Sherwood Rope Horses
  • 6:00 pm: Open Goat Roping – Tentative

Thursday, March 17

  • 1:00pm – 7:00pm: Rodeo Ticket Office Open – Time Tentative

Having been raised around the family ranch in Reno, Nevada, Kennadee Riggs was instilled with a passion for preserving the western way of life at an early age. She grew up under Arizona skies competing horseback while developing a deep love for everything equine. She enjoys promoting cowboy lifestyle as the 2022 Miss Rodeo Arizona. As a member of the Cowgirls Historical Foundation she spends much of her time volunteering at charities and educating the public on western heritage . Recently, she served as a missionary for her church in Brazil and Oklahoma, all while spreading her love of the western lifestyle in those places along the way. As she works toward pursuing a degree in journalism and broadcasting she feels privileged to be a part of the Cowboy Lifestyle Network team, spreading good news and enthusiasm for our cowboy bloodlines.
