This weekend in Sturgis, South Dakota rodeo fans and Cowboy Lifestyle Network followers have the opportunity to watch top Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) contestants compete at the Sturgis Wild West Days June 13-14, 2014

Among the rough stock talent scheduled to compete is Camp Crook native Jesse Bail.

“It’s nice to be home before the 4th of July run and always fun to go to the hometown rodeo.  I encourage everyone to come and enjoy the Sturgis Wild West Days.  They are honoring veterans each night and it’s a privilege to compete with them in the audience,” stated Jesse Bail, the 2013 Saddle Bronc Champion for the Sturgis Wild West Days.

South Dakota is known for producing great Saddle Bronc Riders including reigning world champion Chad Ferley, Bail, the Etbauer brothers (Robert, Danny and Billy), Elshere cousin (JJ, Cole and Ryan), Tom Reeves and Jeff Willert.

Bail has qualified for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 12 times since 2001. He is listed fourth in highest earnings for the Cowboy Christmas annals (2002) when he won $33,455 for three minutes of work. He traveled to six states, two countries and logged 17,497 miles over the Fourth of July.

Fun Fact from Cowboy Lifestyle Network: The Dakotas (North and South) are dominate forces winning World Saddle Bronc Riding Championships since 1929.
