Come one, come all! First held in 1934, the San Angelo Rodeo, taking place April 1-17, 2022, is one of the most beloved rodeos in Texas. A favorite of Lone Star State cowboys and cowgirls for decades. Known for attracting great crowds as well as many of the world’s best rodeo competitors, the PRCA San Angelo Rodeo has gained a reputation for great action and excitement from start to finish.
Military Appreciation: Wednesday, April 13 – 7:30 p.m. (tickets starting at $10.50)
Thursday, April 14 – 7:30 p.m. (tickets starting at $10.50)
The Finals bring you the best contestants from this year’s rodeo. The top 12 in each event come back to town to compete for the championship! It is one of the most coveted titles in Pro Rodeo! The finals will take place Friday, April 15 at 7:30 PM (tickets starting at $25.50).
Contestants in each event are made up of the top five from the 2021 year-end standings, and the top five from the current 2022 world standings. In the first go-round, each contestant goes head to head and the four with the fastest times, or best scores, advance to the second round. From those four, the one with the best ride or run in the second go-round gets a check of $12,500 in each event! The total purse this year is $100,000 for the single performance. You watch the best of the best compete for life-changing money and the title of Cinch Chute Out Champion, all on the same night! The Cinch Chute Out will take place Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 PM ($30.50).
