Cinch Chute-Out – Saturday, April 18 at 7:00 PM

The Cinch Chute Out is a premier attraction in Pro Rodeo, distinguished by its rapid ticket sales and elite qualification criteria. Only the top ten contestants from the 2025 world standings are invited to participate in each event. The tournament structure demands immediate excellence: a head-to-head first round narrows the field to the four best scores or times, followed by a final round where the top performer secures $7,500. With $100,000 in total prize money on the line, the event offers an intense, one-night experience where world-class athletes vie for the title of Cinch Chute Out Champion.

Tejano Day Extravaganza – Sunday, April 19 at 2:00 PM

Experience the beauty and tradition of the Mexican Extravaganza during Tejano Day at the San Angelo Rodeo. Produced by the renowned Jerry Diaz family, this performance is widely regarded as one of the most colorful and captivating shows in the nation. Dairy Queen Midway & Carnival

The Dairy Queen Carnival, featuring Amusement Midway Providers, returns to San Angelo from April 3-19, 2026. This 17-day event is a highlight of the season, offering a nostalgic mix of Ferris wheels, roller coasters, ring toss games, and signature funnel cakes. With nearly 150,000 visitors entering the carnival grounds and a total of 170,000 passing through the area, it stands as one of the most highly trafficked attractions in the region. From wild rides to delicious food, there is something to satisfy every visitor at this massive community celebration.

And like any good cowboy tale, there's a loyal sidekick, my little Dachshund, Frank, who I adopted from a shelter in New Braunfels, Texas, back in 2018. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Affairs and a minor in Mass Communication. My major taught me to decode consumer behavior, which is crucial for marketing, while my minor sharpened my storytelling skills.
