It’s springtime in the valley of the sun, which means it’s time for some tried and true traditions – beautiful weather, spring training baseball and the Scottsdale Rodeo. The 67th annual Parada del Sol Rodeo is March 5-8 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road. The PRCA-sanctioned rodeo happens at 7 p.m. on March 6 & 7th, then 3 pm on March 8th. Thursday, March 5 showcases bullriding only, starting at 7 p.m.
Each day of the rodeo promises thrills. Thursday, Arizona’s best bull riders will go up against the toughest bulls in the state. You’ll be just a few feet away from the action! Don’t miss the rest of the events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday – team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, sheep riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding. Each day features specialty acts as well!
After a full evening of rodeo events, mosey on over to the Coors HoeDown on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. This event includes live entertainment and fun for guests age 21 and over. With so many things going on right there in Downtown Scottsdale, there is a little something for everyone.
The Official Scottsdale Parada del Sol Parade is taking place in downtown Scottsdale on February 8th, 2020. This is always a great event for the whole family and takes place about a month before the rodeo action begins. Make sure to put it on your calendar for next year!
Parada del Sol offers the opportunity to see top rodeo events right here in our backyard. But there’s a lot more to it than the rodeo, parade and other events. The Parada del Sol organization is a non-profit corporation that provides financial and volunteer support to local groups.
If you need more information about the event, call 480-648-4369 with ticket questions, or the Parada del Sol office, 480-990-3179 with general questions.
