Snake River Stampede 2019

Written by

Known as the “Wildest Fastest Show On Earth,” the famous Snake River Stampede, one of the top 10 PRCA sanctioned rodeos, blasts onto the scene July 16th-20th, 2019! Discover why this rodeo is one of the biggest stops for both competitors and rodeo fans during the highly anticipated Cowboy Christmas rodeo run below.

Snake River Stampede Rodeo

As mentioned above, the Snake River Stampede attracts some of the most talented rodeo stars in the country! Dakota Eldridge, Ryder Wright, Tuf Cooper, and Trevor Brazile were just some of the big names that could be found on the day sheets of last year’s Snake River Stampede rodeo.

This year, expect to see all of your favorite competitors once again, and, of course, the famous Boyd Polhamus who will be reprising his role as the rodeo announcer for the Snake River Stampede! Also, keep an eye out for barrelman Matt Tarr who will be entertaining audiences during the rodeo. Make sure to get the best seats in the house by purchasing your rodeo tickets here!

Snake River Stampeders

One of the biggest highlights of attending the Snake River Stampede is having the chance to watch their official drill team, the Snake River Stampeders! The famous drill team is the only drill team ever invited to perform at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, and have done so on six different occasions. The team also had the chance to perform their special act at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.

So what makes the Snake River Stampeders so special? Unlike most drill teams who perform under the bright lights of a rodeo arena, the Snake River Stampeders perform in total darkness, with only the lights on themselves and their horses to guide them. Audiences can’t get enough of the “glow in the dark” effect, and that is what has made the drill team such a success.

Events & Entertainment

Don’t miss out on any of the events and entertainment the rodeo has to offer!

Stampede for the Cure

The Snake River Stampede rodeo is passionate about helping women in the Treasure Valley, Idaho, area pay for mammograms, and has raised $700,000 since 2006 to aid in this life-saving effort. Visit stampedeforthecure.org to learn more about how you can make a difference!

The Cowboy Lifestyle Network team can’t wait to see all of y’all rodeo fans at the Snake River Stampede!

Stacey Lorton

Hey y'all! Stacey here, I'm originally from Texas, but now I'm a desert dweller! When I'm not working you can find me riding horses; I compete in reining and ranch riding. I am super excited to be a part of the Cowboy Lifestyle Network Team!
