Steiners Kick Off 2024 at Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
Tonight, Friday, January 19, 2024, Rocker Steiner will nod for his first bareback horse of the season, Macza’s Montana Cat, at the Texas Champion’s Challenge – the rodeo opener for the next few weeks of PRCA competition. The young man from Weatherford, Texas, is ready.
Rocker is coming off three go-round wins at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Like most world championship contenders, he took a little time off after the dust settled. He’s rested and ready.
Friday and Saturday, look for the young Steiner’s, Steely and Rocker competing in their respective events. Steely’s good horse Bombshell gets the call for Steely after closing the 2023 season getting tougher and tougher.
The legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo format is two go-rounds, with the top two leading the average advancing to the semi-finals – the PRCA rodeo runs from January 19 through Feb 4.
The brother and sister dream goals include co-wins for Steely and Rocker. Maybe this is their time!
