The Kids’ Summer Series features a family movie each week at a discount price for kids age under 12. See the Kids’ Summer Series website for the schedule. Tickets are available for $1 each. Doors open at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, movies begin at 9:30 a.m. Movies Under the Stars are Monday nights in the UltraStar Amphitheater. Bring blankets or low-back chairs and settle in to enjoy classic family movies. Screenings begin at 7 p.m. and run through July 31. No outside food or drink may be brought in, but concession stands are available.
There’s a lot of bowling to be had, with many good deals. Try the Family Fun Deal at Ten Pins Down. This deal is for Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and bundles 90 minutes of bowling, shoes for five players, five $5 game cards and a large cheese pizza for only $49.95. Or for $59.95, receive all this plus five rounds of laser tag for $59.95. Got more than five people? Add extra guests for just $10 more each. If you’re up early on a Sunday, try Early Bird Bowling from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with bowling for $1.50 per game and $1.50 shoe rentals. Score shoe rental for 80 cents and bowling for 80 cents per game on Wednesdays. Ten Pins Down offers these deals year-round. The Summer Fun Pass is offered Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through August 4. It includes unlimited bowling and shoes for $10.95, or all that plus laser tag for $15.95.
UltraStar wristbands combine different attractions for one low price. For $39.95, the Ultra Package bundles unlimited amusements with bowling and laser tag, one movie pass, one regular drink and popcorn, and a $10 game card for a full day of fun. The Star Package also provides all-day fun with unlimited amusements, including bowling and laser tag, one movie pass, and a $10 game card for the arcade for $29.95. Or for $24.95, the Fun Package combines three amusements, one movie pass, and a $10 game card.
Bring your appetite when you come to the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle. Dining deals at different restaurants on site satisfy your tastes without draining your wallet. Try a $5 cheeseburger and fries deal on Mondays or $2 tacos on Tuesdays at 347 Grill and Luxe Lounge. The 347 Grill has happy hour daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with $3 domestic draft, well liquor, or house wine.
