With this year’s rodeo being the 61st annual edition of the event, those who attend every year have a special place in their heart for the competition. As the Wild West’s longest-running night rodeo, it has seen more than its share of great competitors over the years. From its humble beginnings, it has grown so popular that this year’s event will have 650 additional bleacher seats available to accommodate everyone.
As anyone in Arizona knows, the July 4th weekend not only has its share of fireworks in the sky, but also in these events as well.
In addition to the weekend festivities in Taylor, Arizona there are numerous other competitions held during this holiday week that let cowboys and cowgirls show off their talents. These events, referred to as “Cowboy Christmas” due to the fact that there are as many as 34 competitions taking place over the holiday weekend alone, give competitors the chance to win tremendous amounts of prize money in a short period of time.
