The American Rodeo in partnership with the PRCA features eight rodeo disciplines you know and love, such as barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc, bareback, and bull riding. This event unites the cream of the crop—professionals and amateurs alike—for the ultimate rodeo showdown, all vying for a jaw-dropping total payout of over three million dollars.
You heard me right! Amateur rodeo athletes will compete alongside the pros for a payout unlike any other. So how does it work? Since the beginning of the year, rodeo athletes have dedicated countless hours in the rodeo arena to earn their spot at The American. With three regional competitions completed, the top fifteen athletes from each discipline in each region will advance to compete at The American Contender Finals in Arlington, Texas on April 11th. From these fifteen athletes, the top 5 are selected to move forward to The American Rodeo where they will compete against the top 5 in the PRCA and WPRA on April 12th.
It isn’t all dust, dirt, and broncs at The American! Rodeo fans can also expect to enjoy the sweet sounds of country artists, Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley, and Riley Green!

Two-Day Passes
Two-day passes include access to both days of rodeo and concert action. Along with the purchase of a two-day pass, rodeo fans will have access to the brand-new Infield Party! With the American Rodeo Infield Party Pass, attendees will enjoy live DJs, big-screen TVs, multiple bars, and a food court right by The American Rodeo arena.
