The Art of the Cowgirl
The February Art of the Cowgirl gathering in Phoenix promises to be a premier event, including many auxiliary activities:

  • Art of the Cowgirl Fellowship – a 501(c) (3),  providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn or refine a passion with some of Western Industry’s most talented Masters.
  • A Fellowship Auction, with proceeds benefiting the Art of the Cowgirl Fellowship
  • Daily concerts featuring Linda Thurston and the Genuine Cowgirls, Adrian Buckaroogirl, and others.

This gathering will converge at the exclusive Corona Ranch, just six miles from the Phoenix Convention Center, beginning Friday, February 8, and running through Sunday, February 10.

Art of the Cowgirl
Seven Masters, and one Guest Maker, of the Western Industry will be attending Art of the Cowgirl – as part of the Art of the Cowgirl Fellowship.

These accomplished artists, or Masters, will not only be exhibiting and auctioning their work to benefit the Fellowship program but will also be participating in the Fellowship, wherein enrolled recipients will be eligible to be chosen to receive a scholarship to work with a Western Industry Master. Tuition, materials, and accommodations will be all-inclusive.

Tammy often accompanies her husband, Curt Pate, a world-renowned stockmanship instructor on instructional tours. Curt Pate is a part of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) Stockmanship Program. The NCBA is also a sponsor of the 2019 February Art of the Cowgirl event.

Born and raised on a cattle ranch on the Flathead Indian Reservation in northwest Montana, Eileen graduated from University of Montana - Western with a Business Degree. She is the mother of two grown children - Sydnee, and Billy Quade; and grandmother of two, Lillian and Rocky Rex. Eileen draws from personal, life experiences; as she has held many positions over the years including heavy equipment operator, member of a survey crew for Independence Mining, veterinary technician, Bud Girl for Anheuser-Busch, PR Director for the Idaho Cowboys Association, feed manager for Midland Bull Test Station in Columbus, Montana, National Event Coordinator for Montana Silversmiths, security guard for the Muskogee Creek Nation One Fire Casino, Marketing Director for the Tulsa RV Ranch, and freelance writer for various publications - including a weekly column for three years in the "Elko Daily Free Press" in Elko, Nevada. She enjoys training barrel horses and singing - and has sung the National Anthem for rodeos such as the Reno Rodeo in Reno, Nevada, the College National Finals, and the New Year's Eve Bull Bash in Salt Lake City, Utah.
