The Hondo Rodeo Fest: Food, Fun, and Festivities

Phoenix is gearing up for one of the liveliest weekends of the season as Hondo Rodeo Fest rides back into town November 13–15. This three‑day celebration blends rodeo action with festival fun, bringing fans a mix of rodeo thrills, lively music, tasty food, unique vendors, and the perfect excuse to hit the town with family and friends. With several updates and additions debuting this year, the 2026 Hondo Rodeo Fest promises to offer something new for returning fans and first‑time visitors alike.

Guests will enjoy bigger hangout zones, fresh fan experiences, and plenty more space to explore through the vendor areas. The Hondo Rodeo Fest team is rolling out new interactive features, extended evening entertainment, and upgraded viewing spots that make this year’s festival feel even more fun, bright, and community‑driven. Cowboy culture is still front and center, but this year’s schedule leans into the lively, social vibe that makes The Hondo Rodeo Fest a must‑attend on your fall calendar. We can’t spill all the new surprises just yet, but one we’re excited to share is the first‑ever Hondo Rodeo Fest Cattle Drive Parade happening Tuesday, November 10th to kick off the weekend. Long‑horn cattle, bulls, sponsors, and the Hondo Rodeo Fest team on horseback will take over the streets while fans line up to cheer them on.

The Hondo Street Fest: Know Before You Go

By now you’ve heard us hype up the rodeo action and the concert thrills, but one of the most beloved (and growing!) parts of the Hondo Rodeo Fest is the pre‑show Street Fest. This free-to-attend, block‑party‑style kickoff is family‑friendly and will get the party started before stepping foot in the stadium.

Visitors can also browse an eclectic mix of shopping options, including hats, handcrafted leather goods, jewelry, home décor, unique turquoise pieces, caricature art, and other locally made treasures.

For the Kiddos

And for the littlest cowboys and cowgirls, the Street Fest has plenty of family-friendly fun to keep them smiling all day long. In years past, The Hondo has hosted everything from mutton bustin’ and kiddie rides to mechanical bulls, petting zoos, and more, so families can gear up for another exciting lineup of activities designed just for the young buckaroos.

See You There!

With delicious food, unique shopping, live music, dancing, and tons of entertainment for all ages, this year’s festival is shaping up to be one you won’t want to miss.
