The Range Steakhouse – Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino

Wow Your Taste buds!

We’re talking a classic yet casual kind of dining experience here. The Range Steakhouse has a great deal to offer when it comes to an excellent, classic steak house. We took the opportunity to interview the Executive Chef, Colin Ribble, regarding the menu at The Range Steakhouse at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa. And, what an interview it was! Chef Ribble is so inspiring and easy to talk with and is truly a man who loves food.
Although Chef Ribble dedicates most of his time on ensuring diners receive the very best and less time actually cooking or preparing food; he does take the time to grill a juicy steak when he needs a cooking fix. Chef Ribble comes to The Range Steakhouse from Rochester, New York and brings a French trained culinary education and background. However, a good ole American Ribeye Steak is his favorite. Trust me, enjoy what the chef enjoys and you will be in food heaven or food coma, whichever comes first!

Chef Ribble stated, “We have a classic menu with an upper-casual environment,”. He wants to welcome guests right from the casino or pool, to feel comfortable coming to a refined steakhouse and enjoying a wonderful meal.
The menu is a classic steakhouse menu; there are a total of seven (7) types of steaks ranging from a 6 oz filet to a 16 ounce Ribeye steak. Prime Rib is a top seller on the menu as well. The Prime Rib is prepared and seasoned for 24 hours allowing the beef to be permeated with seasonings. Slowly roasted over four hours, Chef Ribble states, “When the roasting is complete, we turn it over and let all of the juices soak back into the rest of the roast for about 45 minutes to an hour.”   Viola’, you have a perfectly medium rare, juicy and very tender Prime Rib. Oh, and talk about steak sauces, one has the option to choose from five sauces, to customize flavor!

The menu allows guests to pick what they would like with their entrée. Here is what is available: seven types of appetizers, four types of salads, and three types of soups. Additionally, there are two side items, which is from a list of seven, such as grilled asparagus to the perfectly baked potato with all the fixings. Freshly baked homemade sourdough and whole grain breads are served with salads and I’m telling you they give you a half loaf of each!
The menu has other traditional items of seafood, chops, pasta and chicken, too. You will thank yourself for dining at The Range Steakhouse at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa.
We can’t put the entire menu in the article, so please visit the website or go and indulge yourself in classic, wholesome and fresh food for dinner.
Special thanks to Chef Colin Ribble for giving us the opportunity to interview him and dine at The Range Steakhouse!

Patrick OD O'Donnell

The moment a bull's gate swings open—that's when Patrick "OD" O'Donnell feels most alive. From his early days riding bareback through Arizona pastures to revolutionizing the bull riding industry as President of Bull Riders Only, OD has lived the Western lifestyle he now champions as Founder of Cowboy Lifestyle Network. Growing up in Casa Grande's sunbaked agricultural heartland, he didn't just learn about horses and ranching, he lived it daily, developing the instincts and grit that would later attract 4 million followers to CLN's authentic voice. After his baseball days at the University of Arizona, OD saw something others missed: bull riding wasn't just a sport, but was compelling entertainment waiting for the right vision. Between 1990-1997, his leadership transformed local rodeo competitions into sold-out arena events that changed Western sports forever. Today, that same pioneering spirit drives CLN's coverage of everything from championship rodeos to the quiet heroism of ranch life. When he's not building the digital home for cowboy culture, you'll find OD supporting Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, leading CLN’s 25-year Christmas Toy Drive for Arizona kids, or sharing his love of horsemanship with special needs riders through Arizona's own Horses Help. Living proof that authentic Western values still have the power to transform lives.
