Top 10 Things To Do At The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo:

1. World Series of Team Roping

The Ariat World Series of Team Roping Finale will be taking place over at SouthPoint hotel and Casino, December 9th through the 17th. If you’re a fan of team roping or if you like to shop this will be a great stop. SouthPoint Hotel and Casino is definitely a hotspot during the week of the NFR. 

2. Cowboy Christmas

Bring your wallets because you will not be leaving empty-handed. The Las Vegas Convention Center will be home to Cowboy Christmas for all 10 days.  Thousands of businesses from small to large will be set up with all of their goods on display. Things like furniture, clothes, hats, trailers, and anything for your outdoor needs!

3. Junior World Finals sponsored by YETI

Also held at the Las Vegas Convention Center will be the Junior NFR, December 7th through the 16th. Come out and support these kids as they have worked so hard this last year to qualify for the Junior World Finals. 

4. MGM Gold Buckle Zone

Now this one is strictly for the 21+ crowd. Every night after the rodeo the MGM will be hosting the Gold Buckle Zone at the Jack Daniels bar located inside the hotel. There will be live music, tons of dancing, and a packed bar. If you are looking for a rowdy time this will be the place to go. 

5. Resorts World Rodeo Vegas & Party Rehab

Get ready for Rodeo Vegas, a legendary 10-day NFR after-party at Resorts World. This is the premiere National Finals Rodeo (NFR) after-party on the Las Vegas Strip. This late-night celebration is where fans, athletes, and celebrities converge after each NFR Performance night for a total of ten days of completely free live music. Rodeo Vegas is introducing their brand new NFR event, Rodeo Vegas Rehab where you’ll “detox before the retox”. You’ll be able to relax and reset your body for another night of fun as there will be IV stations, massage therapists, chiropractors, and blowouts. There will be food and drinks with a mimosa bar, bloody mary bar, Randy’s Donuts, full bar, and complimentary coffee. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the Bloody Mary Challenge where you’ll create your own masterpiece. Come say hi and stop on by Rodeo Vegas!

6. Fremont Street Experience

Another family and budget-friendly activity. Fremont Street Experience will be a great spot to go to watch street performers, live music, zip lining, and the infamous light show which will be displayed as you are walking. Fremont Street Experience will officially kick off the 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo with its free Downtown Hoedown concert on December 6th featuring live performances by country music stars Eli Young Band, LOCASH, Shane Smith & The Saints, Priscilla Block, and Bryan Martin. The celebration will transform the world-famous Fremont Street Experience into a honky-tonk paradise.

7. South Point Family Attractions

South Point Hotel and Casino is a great place to be if you have your children with you. Upstairs from the casino, there is an arcade, movie theater, and bowling alley. Guaranteed to keep you and your kids busy all night! Be sure to catch the Miss Rodeo America Pageant on December 4th – 10th, the National Finals Breakaway Roping on December 5th – 6th, and the Cinch Western Gift Show (free to the public)!

8. Official Wrangler NFR Watch Party

Cowboy Lifestyle Network has teamed up with Wrangler and they are hosting the Official Wrangler NFR Watch Party. The party will be held at the Tropicana Las Vegas inside of the Havana Room. Free admission and doors open at 5:15 pm. As soon as the bucking is done there will be live entertainment at 8:15 pm by the Western Fusion Band on Saturday, December 9th, and Nathan Dean & the Damn Band will be performing on Friday, December 15th. Deck yourselves out by wearing your favorite Wrangler wear and come early due to limited capacity. You don’t want to miss out on the best viewing party in town.

9. Hooey Party Presents

Hooey will be hosting their party at the Brooklyn Bowl. Performers such as Turnpike Troubadours, Koe Wetzel, Red Shahan, and Red Clay Strays. Will be there on December 8th and the 15th. If you want to attend make sure to get your tickets now, they are selling fast. 

10. Wrangler National Finals Rodeo
