There are six places just in this hotel and casino alone to eat and drink; so whether you’re looking for a quick bite or cocktail or a delicious sit-down meal with friends and family, the Tropicana is the place to be.
First up is Robert Irvine’s Public House, where Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine will whip you up a classic American pub-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This restaurant features a large dining room, a wraparound bar, and wonderful views of The Strip, and it is open all day long from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Next, the Oakville Tucson Grill is a dinner-only steakhouse open from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Here, you will find a chic, white environment for a very nice meal from a selection of chargrilled steaks, pasta, chicken, short ribs, etc. Their wine list includes more than 100 labels, specializing in Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville Napa Valley region.

There will be nightly drink specials in the Trago Lounge, and food specials will be offered in both Robert Irvine’s Public House and Oakville Tucson Grill.
On top of this long list of dining and entertainment offered, the Tropicana’s rooms and other accommodations make it a remarkable place to stay, especially during the NFR. It is right in the hustle and bustle of The Strip, just two miles from the Thomas & Mack Center and only about three and a half miles from Cowboy Christmas at the Las Vegas Convention Center. While it may have originally been built in 1957, it has been regularly renovated and updated; and today, the rooms are clean, modern, and stylish.
