UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle Brings Free Family Movies Under the Stars

Written by

If your idea of a perfect evening includes beautiful weather, a picnic dinner or snacks, and a family friendly movie outside, look no further than Movies Under the Stars. This free event offers lots of fun at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle.

Bring your blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the outdoor movies. On Monday, April 25th at 6 p.m. the feature will be “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”  In May, the free family movie nights will move to Saturday evenings. Visit ultrastarakchin.com/movies-under-the-stars for future movie listings.

No reservations or tickets are required, and seating is first come, first served. The UltraStar Amphitheater area seats up to 300 people, there’s plenty of room to sprawl out on the grass or hang out at a picnic table.  At the outdoor movies, the amphitheater concession stand will offer movie-style food and snacks for purchase including popcorn, fountain beverages, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, and more. No outside food or drink is allowed. Picnic tables will be available, but families are encouraged to bring their chairs or blankets for the movies. Spread out and get comfortable!

During the warm summer months, the splash pad will be open for the kids. Enjoy a fun park-like outing and a family friendly movie all at the same time!

Of course, there are many other great days to go to the movies at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle. The center currently offers discount days on Tuesdays and Thursdays with movies discounted to $6 all day, and regular-sized popcorn and drinks are only $2 each. The discount does not apply to special engagement films.

For more information on these special offers, visit www.ultrastarakchin.com/discount-days-every-tuesday-and-thursday/

Round up the kids, pack up your blankets and chairs, and come on out for an evening of outdoor fun with Movies Under the Stars!
