Written by

UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle recently announced plans to temporarily close in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the first time UltraStar has closed its doors since the center opened more than seven years ago. The closure was effective at the end of business on Wednesday, March 18.

There were no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle. But the management team made the decision to close the facility in the best interest of the health and safety of their team members and guests. The UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle is following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

Throughout the news of COVID-19 pandemic, UltraStar took precautionary measures, including canceling large events and limiting the number of guests in its theaters, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

In a Facebook post, the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle encouraged its guests to “come together to keep our family and friends safe and healthy,” and to “keep the spirit of Film, Food, and Fun alive during this temporary hiatus.”

The UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle will be back and ready to celebrate! Stay safe and healthy and see you soon!
