When it comes to great rodeo action, cowboys and cowgirls across the United States know there is no better place to look than the United Rodeo Association. Established in 1962, the URA sanctions rodeos in nine western states and offers a year-round schedule, giving rodeo fans the chance to attend some of the most exciting events in the industry. Because of the year-round schedule of events, the URA is considered not only a great opportunity for established rodeo stars to showcase their skills, but also for numerous up-and-coming stars to do the same.

Media Coverage
When it comes to the United Rodeo Association, there is extensive media coverage of each and every event and the rodeo stars who compete. The Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team will be busy writing articles as well as providing videos and photos of all the great action.
Along with the great media coverage of the competition, fans will also be greeted by Miss URA 2016 Jillian Albrecht, who at age 16 has already had extensive experience attending and competing in rodeo events across the country. Along with Jillian, the United Rodeo Association is also well-represented by its President Jeff Gray, Vice-President Monty Dyer, and Secretary Muff McGee. Thanks to their leadership, the URA rodeo schedule has continued to grow to the point where the association now averages more than 800 members annually and approves more than 100 rodeos per year.
