A Game-Changing Event
“The Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo is a must stop during the summer for PRCA and WPRA contestants alike,” stated Tommy Joe Lucia, Executive Director of the Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo. “Money won here plays an important role in determining Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) qualifiers and eventual world champions. Not only will PRCA and WPRA contestants have a chance to walk away with a pocket full of cash, but they will get the opportunity to win a gold, silver or bronze medal, a staple at this rodeo since 2017, making it the only Gold Medal Rodeo in the world.”

Utah Cowgirl Collective
In a continuous effort to expand its educational and charitable impact, The Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo created The Utah Cowgirl collective – a scholarship program dedicated to the strength of women and the rich spirit of western culture. Each year, the UCC comprises six ambassadors from across the region who will serve their community and promote the western way of life. Their roles include teaching youth and families about western culture, sharing Utah’s pioneer heritage with others, standing as public relations representatives for the Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo, partnering with several charitable organizations, and giving back to the community by committing to 300 hours service.

If you’ve been wanting to pull the trigger on an unforgettable summer trip, this is your sign to check out the Days of ‘47 Rodeo! Whether you go for the fireworks, the food, or just to cheer on the amazing athletes and animals, it’s one of those summer nights you won’t forget. There’s nothing quite like it, and it’s even better when you’re there in person!
