Close out the Summer in Cheyenne: Hell on Wheels Rodeo & Chuck Wagon Dinner

As the summer heat begins to fade and the cooler fall months are upon us, check out the final rodeo in Cheyenne’s Hell on Wheels Rodeo series. Featuring rough stock favorites and timed events, the final Hell on Wheels Rodeo performance will kick off at 7 pm sharp on September 6th. The highest money earner in each event will be awarded a championship buckle. Contestants who show their rodeo prowess in two or more events will be added to the running for the All-Around Championship Saddle. With over $69,500 in payouts last year alone, the stakes are high for the 2024 Hell on Wheels Rodeo!

Come for Dinner, Stay for the Rodeo!

All that rodeoing is sure to make any cowboy and cowgirl hungry! Grumbling bellies fear not, the 3 Lazy R Chuck Wagon has you covered. For four years, this iconic chuck wagon has been keeping fans and rodeo competitors alike fed and full, ready to take on a full evening of rodeo fun. A glimpse into the diet of the old west with an elevated modern culinary touch, the 3 Lazy R Chuck Wagon is cookin’ up award-winning brisket, beans, potatoes, and cobbler. So grab a ticket and grab a plate at any of the Hell on Wheels Rodeo Performances! Dinner starts at 5:30 pm sharp!

Taryn Cantrell

Taryn Cantrell is an Arizona native who has spent many hours in the rodeo arena. Having grown up barrel racing, serving as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and as a member of the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn is passionate about her western heritage and all things rodeo. When she’s not on horseback, Taryn can be found playing her bass guitar, painting, and performing around Phoenix with her band. Taryn is a graduate of Arizona State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. Taryn is proud to combine her love of the arts with her love of rodeo and has been honored to sing The National Anthem at various rodeos across the beautiful state of Arizona. Alongside her love for art and music, preserving her western heritage and promoting the sport of rodeo are just two of Taryn’s many passions. Taryn is so honored to share her love of rodeo with Cowboy Lifestyle Network’s wonderful audience.
