Volkswagen recently introduced the Atlas, its latest SUV, which has received rave reviews so far. The US News Best Cars scorecard ranked the Atlas as the top mid-size SUV and top SUV with three rows. Check out this impressive entry to the market!
You can test drive the VW Atlas at any Earnhardt Auto Centers dealership, including San Tan Volkswagen in Gilbert.
The VW Atlas seats up to seven people, with standard features of split-folding second and third row seats. Second-row captain’s chairs are also available to provide more comfort for those passengers. And third-row seats are easily accessible due to tilting and sliding second-row seats. Multiple USB ports throughout will keep everyone connected.
If you’re hauling more stuff than people, you can fold down the second and third rows to make for 96.9 cubic feet of cargo space.
Available add-ons include heated and cooled front seats, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and climate control. The climate control option provides three different zones of temperature — one for the driver, for the front seat passenger, and for those in the second and third rows. Up to three car seats can fit in the Atlas’ second row, and two can fit in the rear seat, according to a review by US News.
The Atlas also can be equipped to entertain. The standard 6.5 inch color touch screen, SD card reader and an app connecting feature can link all your compatible devices. The VW Car-Net Security & Service can tell you where you parked and whether you locked the door. And the remote start feature gives you more time to enjoy your morning coffee while your vehicle warms up or cools down for your drive.
Available safety features include overhead view and rear view camera systems, pedestrian monitoring, blind spot monitor, lane assist and park assist, which can judge if a parking spot is big enough. Hate to parallel park? Park assist makes it a breeze with steering guidance.
To check out the Volkswagen Atlas, visit San Tan Volkswagen, 1489 E. Motorplex Loop in Gilbert. You’ll be impressed with this SUV![/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”12″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1513975790055-c272f6e6-ccd9-0″ include=”40049,40050,40048″][vc_column_text]

Similarly to the protagonist in *The Devil Wears Prada*, Carolyn moved to New York City right after college. After a few years, she left New York in the rearview mirror and returned to her home state, taking a reporter job at the *Apache Junction Independent*. With over 30 years of freelance writing experience, Carolyn especially enjoys writing about community events and profiling individuals who are making a difference in their communities. She had the pleasure of interviewing a variety of cowboy personalities for an article she wrote for the *Scottsdale Independent* about the history of DC Ranch and its roots as a working ranch. Now, her Western adventures with CLN have her diving into the rugged automotive scene, exploring the trucks and rigs cowboys rely on for work, home, and play, a niche where grit meets horsepower. She works at Raising Special Kids, a nonprofit resource center for families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs. Carolyn also volunteers with the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix. Carolyn believes that everyone has a story, and she loves connecting with others to hear their stories. She’s dedicated to ethical journalism and accurate reporting, which shines through in her storytelling.
