Owner of Brown Sugar Buckaroo, Whitney Brown is originally from New Mexico but ended up in Smyer, Texas with her husband and two sons creating an assortment of leather crafts and cute apparel for your big and little buckaroos. We enjoyed this quick Q & A with her about her business. Check it out below!
Q: How did you get started in your business?
Whitney: I started my business out of my bedroom as a stay-at-home mom and it has grown out into our shop!
Q: What motivates you in your business?
Whitney: I’m mostly motivated by ideas that have to get out of my head! But obviously my family too!
Q: What makes your business unique from others?
Whitney: I offer unique and funny western men’s gifts! Men can be so hard to shop for, they’re either content with what they have or they buy everything, usually. So here’s a pair of work gloves with Old Fart across the knuckles!
Q: Where do you want to be in the next 3 years?
Whitney: I’d love to be doing what I’m doing running my business, hanging out with my husband, and getting to raise my two boys.
