Fix your sweet tooth with this Wild West Dump Cake! Your friends will be coming out of the woodwork to get a slice.
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 stick butter – cut into pats
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a 9 x 13 baking dish, add can of cherry pie filling and spread evenly over bottom of dish. Next, add pineapple with juice and spread over cherries. If adding nuts, sprinkle half of them over mixture. Pour entire box of dry cake mix evenly over the top. Next, sprinkle the rest of the nuts and coconut (if using) over top of cake mix. Finally, cover entire top of cake with pats of butter. Place in pre-heated oven and cook for 1 hour or until brown and bubbly. Serve this Wild West Dump Cake with vanilla ice cream! So yummy!
