First Annual Wild Wickenburg Bullriding 2022

Wickenburg, Arizona is a town full of rich western heritage. The time is now, the first annual Wild Wickenburg Bullriding is kicking off on Saturday,  April 9, 2022. The event is located at the Everett Bowman Rodeo Arena at 935 Constellation Rd, Wickenburg, AZ 85390. Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the event will kick off at 7:00 pm. All ages are welcome. Purchase your tickets today for this extreme event that’ll have you on the edge of your seat!

Arizona natives, Gina Kraut founder of Lazy K Heart Productions, and Jason Mattox founder of the Challenge of Champions Tour have teamed together to put on the first annual Wild Wickenburg Bullriding event. Twenty-five of the top professional bull riders will be taking on twenty-five of the best bucking bulls around in this extreme event. Six bull riders and bulls will be brought back for a short go and then there will be a winner announced. 

To kick off the main event, on Friday night, April 8th Lazy K Heart productions and Challenge of Champions Tour are putting together a Calcutta where cowboys will be auctioned off. You will be able to place a bid on your favorite cowboy and be able to win a little jackpot yourself if your cowboy wins. This event will be held at 5:00 PM at Rancho Bar 7 at 111 E Wickenburg Way, Wickenburg, AZ 85390.

Professional announcer, Steve Kenyon will be keeping you updated during this extreme event. Barrelman, Hollywood Don Yates will be making sure you guys get a good laugh in. Professional bullfighters, Cauy Kraut from Arizona and Tyler Thiessen from Oklahoma will be taking on the bulls to help the bull riders get back to safety. Bring your appetite, there will be several food trucks and vendors throughout the evening.

After the Wild Wickenburg Bullriding event on Saturday be sure to stay for the after-party. Outstanding independent artist, Matt Williams from Stillwater, OK will be performing right in the arena. Get those boots on and get ready for a good time.

My work even caught the eye of Cowboy Lifestyle Network's CTO, Irish Padmore, who recognized me for contributing to his research on Consumer Behavior in the Age of AI. Since 2018, I've been honored to work at Cowboy Lifestyle Network. Now as Editor-in-Chief writing, editing, and publishing articles that capture the cowboy spirit, crafting strategies rooted in Western values, and building real client connections.
