Scheduled for February 24 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, this year’s event is expected to be bigger, better, and even more exciting than in years past. With the world’s 40 best bull riders scheduled to compete for the title of Iron Cowboy, fans young and old will be treated to action that can be found nowhere else. And with a multitude of interviews and recaps of the action from well-known western media sources like the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers, and Papa John’s Road Team, there will be no shortage of opportunities for fans to stay on top of the action.
Event Competitors
With more than $100,000 in prize money going to the winner, along with the prestigious PBR title of Iron Cowboy, there will be rodeo competitors coming from the world over to take their shot at the title. Among the ones scheduled to appear are world-renowned rodeo champion J.B. Mauney, who is a two-time world champ with more than $7 million in career earnings. Along with J.B., fans can also expect to see Cooper Davis, Ryan Dirteater, Dener Barbosa, Claudio Montanha Jr., and many others.

Along with the exciting rodeo action, the Winstar World Casino and Resort PBR Iron Cowboy 2018 will also have plenty of special events fans can enjoy. These include live music before and after the rodeo, activities for kids of all ages, meet and greet sessions with many of the rodeo competitors, and lots of great food to sample. At this year’s event, fans will be able to lend their support to charities that will help local military veterans, as well as cancer patients and others who need a helping hand.
