From January 12 through February 3, 2018, more than one million visitors are expected to attend the annual Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. The FWSSR is rated in the top ten largest rodeos in the country. Guests additionally enjoy a carnival, interactive exhibits and close to four acres of shopping.
On January 13th, the festivities commence with the All-Western Parade downtown. The grand procession includes marching bands and equestrian groups along with horse-drawn elaborately decorated floats. All are dressed in Western attire and motorized vehicles are not allowed to enter in keeping with the tradition of the Wild West.
