Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) 2017

Even though Las Vegas may be known primarily for its casinos, nightlife, and astounding performances from musicians, magicians, and others, it’s quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best rodeo stops as well.  If you’re a Vegas cowboy or cowgirl who can’t wait to kick up your heels while watching the world’s best rodeo competitors try to win thousands of dollars in prize money, then plan on stopping by the Thomas and Mack Center for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  Scheduled to run from December 7-16, it will have not only a variety of great rodeo events, but also plenty of other excitement for fans of all ages.
Since the WNFR is so special, it merits tremendous media coverage.  Leading the way will be the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, which always gives fans lots of great interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at the competitors.  Along with CLN, other media coverage will come from the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers, and Papa John’s Road Team.
Needless to say, with so much on the line at this rodeo, each event will be very important.  Some of the events fans can look forward to include:
–Steer Wrestling
–Bull Riding
–Team Roping
–Saddle Bronc Riding
–Barrel Racing
With all this and much more, there’s no doubt each NFR contestant will be going all-out to win.
Along with the great rodeo action each night, fans will be treated to a variety of other special events along the way.  One of these will be Gary Leffew’s Bucking Ball, which will take place at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.  And to add even more excitement to the WNFR, the Coors Roadhouse will be open before and after the NFR, giving fans a great way to unwind with friends after watching the great rodeo action.  And of course, there will be plenty of special nights along the way, such as Tough Enough to Wear Pink on December 11 and Patriot Night on December 16.
