Leighton Berry was on fire last night and scored an 88 point ride for the round win. This put him in the number two position in the standings.

Steer Wrestling: Will Lummus and Tyler Waguespack

Will and Ty split the round win with clean 3.6 second runs in the eigth performance. This puts Ty in third place behind Stetson Jorgensen (1) and Will Lummus (2). Not a lot of movement for the top three, but the championship is going to be a close run with two more performances and the average left to go.

Team Roping: Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin

Coleman and Logan take round eight with a 3.5 second run. This puts them in the number five position heading into the final rounds!

Tie Down Roping: Hunter Herrin

Hunter Herrin takes the round win tonight with a solid 7.2 second run. This puts him in the number five position spot! The leaders in tie down are Caleb Smidt (1), Shad Mayfield (2), John Douch (3), Kincade Henry (4).

Saddle Bronc Riding: Stetson Wright

Stetson came to win the saddle bronc riding last night with a 90.5 ride for the round 8 win. Stetson is right on the tail of Sage Newman in the number two spot. Depending on where he is in the average, he could snag the world championship but with two rounds left to go, only time will tell!

Barrel Racing: Leslie Smalygo

Leslie captured her first round win last night with a 13.41 second run, which is the fastest time we’ve seen so far this year.

Bull Riding: Ky Hamilton and Stetson Wright

Stetson and Ky both made phenomenal rides last night and split the round win with 90 point rides for the round win. Last night’s win pushed Stetson over the half a million mark in earnings.

A huge congratulations to all the winners from last night’s performance, we can’t wait to see what everyone brings to the table for night number eight at the Wrangler NFR 2022.
