July 20-25th kicks off the 88th anniversary of Ogden Pioneer Days in Ogden, Utah! This celebration started in 1934 when Ogden City Mayor, Harman W. Peery wanted to entice tourists to visit the city while boosting local morale. Peery organized a western festival, successfully making it a national attraction within a matter of years! Today it is Utah’s biggest and best state celebration, not to mention, it’s also ranked among the top five largest outdoor rodeos in the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association).
