Your 2020 WNFR World Champions

2020 WNFR World Champions

Congratulations to all of the World Champions of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 2020!

Bareback Riding: Kaycee Feild

This will make Kaycee’s fifth World Championship. His last one was in 2014, so it’s been a hot second since his last one and it isn’t very often that we see cowboys make the comeback that long without a world title. We want to wish Kaycee a huge congratulation on his successful 2020 season!

2020 Career Highlights

  • Won Round 1 of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 2020
  • Won The American (Arlington, Texas)
  • Won the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo (Oakley City, Utah)
  • Won the Black Hills Roundup (Belle Fourche, S.D.)

Steer Wrestling: Jacob Edler

This was Jacob’s first year in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and with all the craziness going on, he was able to ink out a solid lead, giving him the World Championship.

2020 Highlights

  • Won the World’s Oldest Rodeo (Prescott, Ariz.)

Team Roping: Colby Lovell & Paul Eaves

Colby has qualified for several NFR’s in his time, but this will his first World Championship. Paul on the other hand already has a World Championship under his belt, which he received in 2018 with Clay Smith. Congrats to these two guys!

2020 Career Highlights

  • Colby won the Texas (Waco) Circuit Finals, with Ross Ashford
  • Paul won the Bell County PRCA Rodeo (Belton, Texas)
    • Paul was the Co-champion at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo (Denver, Colo.)

Tie-Down Roping: Shad Mayfield

Shad was Resistol’s Rookie of the Year last year during his first trip to the NFR. This year makes his second, taking home his first World Championship.

Bull Riding & All-Around Champion: Stetson Wright

This man doesn’t need much introduction and he was definitely the guy that everyone was rooting for this year. This was Stetson’s third NFR Qualification and these wins put him at three World Championships in his career so far.
