With its 97-year history, the Cody Stampede is one of the longest-running and successful professional rodeos in the United States. Held in part to commemorate famed western legend Buffalo Bill Cody, this PRCA Pro Rodeo is sure to provide plenty of excitement throughout the summer.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink ChapsOf all the events held during the Cody Stampede Rodeo, it’s the Cody Nite Rodeo that often draws the biggest crowds. Known for its family western entertainment, fans who attend can take their pick of a variety of activities. Whether it’s getting a photo taken while on top of Hollywood the Bull, meeting the rodeo clowns and bullfighters, or watching the kids get their faces painted, the rodeo is sure to provide a thrill to each and every person. With plenty of parking and seating available, in addition to lots of good foods and drinks at the concession stands, it’s guaranteed the Nite Rodeo will be an experience to remember.

Cody Stampede Behind the ScenesIn addition to all the other events being held during the Cody Stampede Rodeo, the Wrangler Champions Challenge is one of the most popular. Scheduled for August 14, the Challenge will feature 88 contestants vying for $125,000 in prize money, guaranteeing the action will be as intense as ever. Along with this, the Cody/Yellowstone Xtreme Bulls event will provide plenty of thrills and spills as well. Held on June 30, the world’s top 40 bullriders will take on some of the sport’s biggest and meanest bulls in an attempt to win up to $15,000.
