Gilbert Days Rodeo 2016

From November 11 through 13, Western sports fans are invited to attend the 2016 Gilbert Days Rodeo in the scenic Arizona community. The 38th annual event promises all of the action and excitement that fans have come to love in traditional American Western sports. Witness some of the top-rated cowboys and cowgirls from across the country compete in an array of popular contests at the expansive Welcome Home Ranch. Tickets are available online and at the gate.

About Gilbert Promotional Corporation

The Gilbert Promotional Corporation (GPC) was established in 1978 by local businessmen and ranchers in an effort to keep Western heritage and traditional family values alive. In addition, the group endeavored to promote their community. In addition to the annual rodeo, GPC continues hosting a number of Western events that include a GCPRA barrel racing competition, a GCPRA roping competition, the Gilbert Days Lil’ Dudes Rodeo, the annual Pony Express and the Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. All equestrian activities and Western competitions took place in Gilbert Rodeo Park until 2011. The Welcome Home Ranch now serves as the event location. The venue also provides spectacular views of the San Tan Mountains.

Scheduled Gilbert Days Competitions

The list of events that spectators can hope to attend include:

  • Bareback Bronc Riding
  • Bull Riding
  • Calf Roping
  • Cowgirl’s Barrel Racing
  • Cowgirl’s Breakaway Roping
  • Saddle Bronc Riding
  • Steer Wrestling
  • Team Roping
  • Tie Down Roping

In addition, activities will also include the unique Lil’ Dudes competitions and a dance afterward to the delight of guests of all ages.

Opening Times

  • November 11-Gates open at 4:00 P.M.
  • November 12-Gates open at 2:00 P.M.
  • November 13-Gates open at 11:00 A.M.

Ticket Information:

  • Children under the age of 6 are admitted free
  • Children aged 7 to 15-$10
  • Adults aged 16 to 55-$15
  • Seniors aged 55 and up-$10
  • Family value 6-pack-$60
  • Members of the military with an I.D.-free

Along with being one of the many event sponsors of Gilbert Days Rodeo, the Earnhardt family of Earnhardt Auto Centers will also be in attendance. As with all of the fan-favorite Western rodeo events, the CLN, Ak-Chin Indian Community and the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team will attend in order to provide continual media coverage and updates. Aaron Kuhl

Aaron Kuhl is a passionate advocate for the western lifestyle, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Cowboy Lifestyle Network (CLN). Growing up as an Arizona native, with a mother who worked for Wrangler Western for over 30 years, Aaron was immersed in the cowboy culture from a young age. Aaron and his sister Heather grew up watching rodeos, as their grandfather and uncle were PRCA ProRodeo cardholders. This early exposure has given him a profound understanding and appreciation for the western way of life. Aaron went to Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ, then to the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he received a Bachelor of Science after creating his own major. This unique course of study wove together Business Marketing, Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, and Religion. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Aaron joined CLN in its nascent stages, contributing to its growth and development over the past decade. As COO, Aaron manages operations, using AI to streamline processes and analyze data, ensuring CLN remains a leading voice. With expertise in business development, he innovates and cultivates client relationships, supporting CLN’s exponential growth. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Aaron values his faith, family, and friends, which are the cornerstones of his life. This personal foundation, combined with his professional expertise, makes him a trusted and authoritative voice in the western lifestyle community. Aaron’s commitment to philanthropy is the bedrock of his personal ethos. He actively supports local Arizona organizations such as the American Heart Association, the Boys & Girls Club, Chandler Compadres, Horses Help, Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, and Darkhorse Benefits and Operation Guardian (among others), reflecting his dedication to giving back and strengthening the community he calls home. Through his work, Aaron aims to preserve and promote the traditions of the west, ensuring that the spirit of the cowboy lives on for future generations.
