When you’re looking for an SUV with some muscle that can also tackle everyday routes, the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport might just fit the bill. Take a test drive soon at Earnhardt Ford in Chandler, which recently remodeled and upgraded its whole look. You can also try this vehicle soon at Rodeo Ford in Goodyear.
The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport aims to “tap into a demand for a rough and tough-looking SUV, but one that’s also usable for daily errands and routine driving chores,” says a review by Kelley Blue Book.
A 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder engine powers the Bronco Sport, producing 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. A 250-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder is optional. Both options come with an 8-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive.
Ford has been “generous” with active safety features, notes a review by Motortrend. This includes the Ford CoPilot 360 Suite as standard, with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist and automatic high beams. It’s possible Ford could add its Blue Cruise hands-free driving system for 2023, notes the review, requiring new cameras and sensors.
With ample legroom and cargo space, the Bronco Sport provides a comfortable ride. And tech fans will enjoy the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a six-speaker audio system. In addition, the Outer Banks and Badlands trim offer 10-speaker B&O audio.
Overall, Motor Trend highlights impressive off-road performance, quiet and comfortable on-road action, and a stylish, usable interior as the perks of the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. Will Ford offer a hybrid model of this SUV? While it hasn’t been announced, reviewers speculate that it’s possible.
