An Exciting New Chapter for the 2025 Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo

The Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo (TCFR) is headed to a new home for 2025! After four successful years in Camp Verde, the championship event will move to the western community of Cave Creek, Arizona, October 31–November 1. The new location offers an exciting next chapter for the annual rodeo celebration of the top talent from Arizona and New Mexico. If you’re a fan of rodeo, this is where you want to be.

Circuit History

In 1975, the PRCA created a system that breaks up the United States into 12 circuits. The circuits include as few as one state, such as the California, Texas, and Montana circuits, to as many as 14 states – the First Frontier Circuit in the northeastern part of the country. In recent years, Mexico and Canada have become circuits as well.

The Circuit System affords opportunities to cowboys who may not have the circumstances that allow them to be on the road for thousands of miles a year. The responsibilities of home, jobs, or businesses require them to spend more time in a specific geographic location than they would be able to spend traveling across the country.  But make no mistake, these cowboys are as good as they come. They also make up the majority of the PRCA’s membership.

Turning a New Page

The move to Cave Creek reflects the continued growth of the circuit and an effort to better serve its membership and fans. The Turquoise Circuit Finals has become a sellout event and a staple on the fall rodeo calendar. Known for its electric atmosphere, the Finals will feature the top cowboys and cowgirls in the region competing in events including bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo to Cave Creek. This community has a deep love for rodeo and a proud western heritage. With its strong rodeo tradition, enthusiastic fans, and incredible venue, Cave Creek is the perfect place to take this event to the next level. We can’t wait to welcome fans for a weekend of world-class competition.”

James Horcasitas
President of the Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo.
