25TH PBR: Music City Knockout Presented by Cooper Tires

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) has made the announcement for the Music City Knockout PBR of the Built Ford Tough Series. It will once again return to the famous Bridgestone Arena through Nashville PBR. This will be the place where the final Major will take place on the 17th of August, Friday at 7:45 pm and on the 18th of August, Saturday at 6:45 pm.

Nashville, Tennessee

The world’s top most bull riders come to Nashville during this tour. It is one of the major stops at the Music City market, which has a one of a kind format. It is a knockout round of the highest order where 35 riders battle it out for more points. Within the two days of the Nashville part of the PBR bracket style action, the riders are seeded. They take each other head on, and the one that has the best score out of the lot takes the win. Those who lose still have a second chance bracket. This allows them to get back in the competition if they can avail the chance.

Schedule

The whole schedule has 26 events all over the country. The major events stop in all the major states in the US. Nashville has been the one state that has been chosen for all of the last 6 years. Since ’96, it has racked up, and it has been 19 times. This year is no different. The BFT World Finals will be held in LA where the last champion earned the most points during his entire season.

Tickets

The tickets start at $19 and are being sold by the box office at the Bridgestone Arena. You can get the tickets at the website ticketmaster.com or even through their customer service department. Just call them at 800-732-1727. These are the best seats in the house, which will give you nothing less than a VIP experience of the sport. They’re going to cost you $400, but you will get an early entry, a look behind the scenes, a backstage tour, catered reception and a lot more. You will see a presentation and see the bulls that are competing. There will be an Elite Seat laynard for you, and you will also get autographs of and photographs with some of the top bull riders in the world.

Attendees

With Fabiano Vieira having taken the throne off of Cooper Davis‘ head, it will be a tough competition this year. Both of these men will be battling it out to see if Davis can win back the title or if Vieira reigns supreme this year. There are going to be former world champions competing, which will make this a good competition this time around.

Television Broadcast

CBS Sports Network is going to broadcast the event on both the days. Friday night will be at 9:00 pm and Saturday night will be at 10:00 pm. The final rides will be featured on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET. Each of the rounds can be seen live on PBR Live, which is available for free. You can even watch it through the PBR LIVE app on Google Play Store and iTunes. Every week the BFTS is televised on CBS, CBS Sports Network, and across different networks around the world.

Peter Varlet

Peter Varlet’s the cowboy critic you love to hate, until he’s right. Born during a thunderstorm in 1972 in Bismarck, North Dakota, he grew up watching his WWII vet dad battle to save their farm from corporate claws. Now, Peter’s the unapologetic voice of Western culture, with a historian’s grip on America’s past, acknowledging both its heroes and hypocrites. His truth to power articles are a no-holds-barred zone for rodeo reviews, cowboy movie takedowns, and ranching tricks that work. He’ll tell you why your country singer’s a fraud and how to fix a fence with only baling wire and spite. Peter despises corporate factory farms taking over and cherishes the DIY grit of real Americans. Politically correct? Nope. Trustworthy? Damn straight. He’s saving the West, one brutal truth at a time.
