Queen Creek Xtreme Bulls 2025: Where Thanksgiving Weekend Meets Adrenaline

Bull Riding

Every Thanksgiving weekend, the quiet town of Queen Creek transforms into a high-energy hub of dust, grit, and heart-pounding excitement. That’s when Queen Creek Xtreme Bulls rides back into the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, marking its 6th annual celebration of world-class bull riding and community spirit. This year’s event takes place on Friday and Saturday, November 28–29, 2025, promising two nights of unforgettable action and entertainment.

A Tradition Built on Power and Pride

What began as a local rodeo event has grown into a cornerstone of Arizona’s rodeo scene, drawing riders and fans from across the Southwest. For many families, it’s become as much a Thanksgiving tradition as turkey and pumpkin pie. Under the bright Queen Creek lights, top-tier bull riders face off against some of the sport’s most fearsome bulls, showcasing raw strength, balance, and courage.

“The support this community has shown for Xtreme Bulls over the years has been incredible,” says event organizer Judd Mortensen. “From families making this their Thanksgiving tradition to local businesses stepping up to be part of it, Queen Creek has truly embraced this event and helped make it one of the highlights of the Arizona rodeo season.”

The Perfect Thanksgiving Weekend Outing

Gates open each night at 6:00 p.m., giving fans time to explore the lively vendor village, where local artisans and businesses offer one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. Between handcrafted jewelry, western wear, and homemade treats, it’s a festive shopping experience with a hometown feel. Hungry? Grab a bite from one of the on-site food vendors, then unwind in the beer garden before the bull riding action kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

The Road to the Wrangler National Finals

This year’s Queen Creek Xtreme Bulls will once again feature elite riders, many of whom are making their final competitive push before the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas. That means fans get a front-row seat to watch NFR-bound athletes test their skills against some of the most challenging bulls in the sport, a preview of the intensity and athleticism that define professional bull riding at its peak.
