Applesauce Spice Cake

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
1 cup pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift dry ingredients together into a mixing bowl. Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Pour in butter, water and applesauce. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 more minutes.Stir in nuts. Pour into a well greased bundt pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 1-2 hours before removing from pan. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream.
