The Casa Grande Cowboy Days & O’odham Tash taking place on February 12th through February 21st, 2016, in Casa Grande, Arizona, is oftentimes renowned as the event of the season in the Casa Grande area of Arizona. The event has a deep history and was designed to celebrate the rich Native American history of the area. Not only does it feature amazing rodeo events such as team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc riding and even bareback riding, it also comes complete with a carnival and parade, all of which is located along the lovely Salt River Pima.
The most skilled cowboy and cowgirl contested are anticipated to be participated in the team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback riding events. Both the Ak-Chin Indian Community and the Gila River Indian Community are proud to be sponsors the annual Casa Grande Tohono O’odham Nation celebration.
Additionally, some of the other types of entertainment include the Pony Express, ladies’ barrel riding and plenty of arts and crafts booth. As you can see, regardless of whether you’re interested in watching all the rodeo events or simply want to get out and attend the carnival and learn about the Ak-Chin Indian Community and Tohono O’odham Nation, there is something for everyone at the Casa Grande Cowboy Days & O’odham Tash. Some of the most popular events are hosted by the Gila River Indian Community and include vendors teaching about the history and making of Native American crafts, the importance that the Salt River Pima has played in the community across the years and general information about the Tohono O’odham Nation.
The Casa Grande Cowboy Days & O’odham Tash is set to be covered by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team.
