Cassville Kicks off Inaugural Ridin’ with Mason Lowe Invitational

Written by

For the first time ever, the toughest sport on dirt is coming to Cassville, Missouri for the inaugural Ridin’ with Mason Lowe Invitational. The bull riders of the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Touring Pro Division are headed to the Bill Hailey Arena in Cassville to honor a fallen friend in true cowboy fashion on Saturday, May 11 for the inaugural Ridin’ with Mason Lowe Invitational, presented by Heald Pro Bulls and Motiv8 Sports Group.

Lowe, a Missouri native, passed away on Jan. 15 as a result of injuries sustained during a PBR event at the Denver Coliseum. To celebrate his passion and love for the sport, 40 cowboys in collaboration with Lowe’s family and close friends will remember the young athlete by doing what he loved to do and riding for a great cause under the Missouri sky at the outdoor arena. Some of the best bull riders in the world including current No. 2 ranked rider in the world standings and best friend to Lowe, Chase Outlaw will compete alongside rising stars of the sport.

The bull riding action for PBR’s debut in Cassville begins at 7 p.m. CST on Saturday, May 11. Tickets can be purchased at the Bill Hailey Arena gate upon entry and will be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Thanks to the generosity of title sponsors Heald Pro Bulls and Motiv8 Sports Group, all proceeds from the event honoring a fallen cowboy who never said no to anyone in need will be donated to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

The Touring Pro Division of PBR allows riders to earn points toward qualifying for the premier tour or adding to their existing world points rank. Each rider will face one bull during Round 1 before the 10 riders with the highest scores advance to the championship round. The overall event winner will be the rider who has earned the most points over two rides.
